The Colonial Schools Days and Hours of Operation
The Westover Preparatory School’s two-day preschool programs for three- and four-year-olds are in session Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Three-day preschool programs for three- and four-year-olds are in session Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Pre-kindergarten programs designed for four- and five-year-olds who will be attending kindergarten classes in the fall are available for either three afternoon or five days. Three-day afternoon pre-kindergarten programs are in session Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Five-day pre-kindergarten programs are in session Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Preparatory School on the Square kindergarten program is in session Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a half hour break for lunch (parent-provided) and a half hour break for rest and quiet time.
Both Schools also offer before-school care daily from 7:30 a.m. to class time, an enrichment program daily from noon to 6:00 p.m., and a summer camp program June through August from 9:00 a.m. to noon Monday - Thursday.
The Colonial Schools follow the Hamilton public schools’ yearly calendar, closing for the same holidays and vacations.
